Are you Not Entertained?

Robert ThompsonIf not, you will be once you’ve read through this entire issue of Winnipeg Men.

Our feature on the Casinos of Manitoba covers four casinos located in the city or not far past city limits, providing a bit of history of each one and detailing everything they have to offer. Each one has restaurants and lounges and some even offer concerts and other entertainment for those not inclined to gamble.

Another form of entertainment is to become a whisky connoisseur by studying up with our cover feature. Whether you’re new on the scene or a whisky aficionado of yore, we’ll explain how to choose it, nose it, drink it, and even where to go to enjoy it.

Stay fit over the winter with one of the hottest exercise options to hit the fitness world in a long time; crossfit. An intense combination of plyometrics, weight lifting, gymnastics and endurance, it’s an intense workout that will get your heart pumping and your body responding.

If you’re looking to get outside, consider exploring the snowmobiling trails and riding with Snoman. The Snopass system is your license to ride the trails, and being a member helps ensure they are maintained and ready for you to hit the powder. Read more about it in Come Ride with Us. If summer outdoor rides are more your thing, head to Headingley Sport Shop for the newest lineup of Indian Motorcyles, which are back on the scene with a vengeance.

This issue we also have our final installment in our four part series on 100 Reasons to Love Winnipeg. This list has been an eye-opener for me, as even with 100 reasons, there are hundreds more we could have included. Winnipeg is overflowing with culture, arts, sports, entertainment, and history, some of which I’m willing to bet many of us aren’t even aware of.

It’s been a great year for us here at Winnipeg Men + Winnipeg Women, and we have big things planned for 2015. We hope the same for you, and wish you all the best for the New Year!
