Events Guide Summer 2015

Churchill Nature Tours

The late Daniel Weedon, along with Thuraya Weedon founded Riding Mountain Nature Tours in 1985 and Churchill Nature Tours in 1987. Our main objective in forming the companies was to help people reconnect with nature and discover the beauty and importance of the natural world. Exploring new landscapes, observing new wildlife, and experiencing new ecosystems is an exciting way to spend a vacation . . . and that’s our specialty. Our tours are designed to offer intimate encounters with the natural resources of Manitoba. We specialize in polar bear adventures in October and November, beluga whale watching tours in July and August, and birding tours in May and June. Our tours are all inclusive and begin in Winnipeg and are led by experienced naturalist guides who are all residents of Manitoba. People travel from all over the world to experience the natural wonders of marvellous Manitoba. Our Marvels of Manitoba  Tour is a designated Canadian Signature Experience. We are proud to be celebrating 30 years in ecotourism this year.
